General note

The objectives of the proposal were: (1) to fulfill a need to update out-of-date fisheries and limited fisheries information in the project region; (2) to conduct a baseline fisheries survey between the Ghost River and the [Waiparous] Creek; (3) to conduct a baseline stream bank habitat assessment of streams in the proposed study area; (4) to provide baseline information to assist in meeting fisheries management objectives; (5) to provide information necessary for East Slopes bull trout and cutthroat trout recovery programs; and (6) to provide a work-study component for students enrolled in Mount Royal Colleges Environmental Technology Program
