Fonds documents Wilks' work as the coordinator and photo page editor of the Mount Royal College History Project. Wilk worked with author Robert MacDonald on the project to research and write an unpublished book as part of Mount Royal's 90th anniversary celebration titled: "An Institution and its Communities: A History of Mount Royal College 1910-2000." Fonds contains one series of audio recordings of interviews with Mount Royal faculty, staff, and students. Fonds also contains correspondence, book drafts, research notes, brochures and promotional material, newspaper articles, photographs, project proposals, timelines, and progress reports.

Mount Royal promotional material

File contains a brochure for the child studies program, general recruitment brochures, a poster promoting Mount Royal's 90th anniversary celebrations, a bookmark from the campus bookstore, and an informational booklet about the City Centre Campus.

Book style MRC history

File documents the preparation of Wilk's Mount Royal history book. The file consists of: correspondence, a student paper on the history of Mount Royal, a draft book introduction and photo index, a photograph of Wilk, a quote for a book cover design, a synopsis of the history book, blank consent/release forms, and draft manuscript and design pages relating to locations around Mount Royal named for college pioneers and early childhood, orchestral, and athletics programs.
