Fonds reflects the development and evolution of the Mount Royal University's School of Nursing and Midwifery and the academic programs it offered. Fonds is arranged into twelve series: photographs, the Diploma Nursing Program and nursing certificate programs, Calgary Conjoint Nursing Program, Athabasca University at Mount Royal College, Bachelor of Nursing, awards, convocation, alumni, external organizations and governing bodies, institutional reports, administration, and course outlines and learning materials.
Fonds contains correspondence, memoranda, minutes, agendas, reports, curriculum development documentation and proposals, surveys/questionnaires, photographs, brochures and pamphlets, student and faculty handbooks, policies, procedures, articles, financial statements and budgets, course modules, and newsletters.

Fonds documents Tom Besse’s direction and production of theatre productions at Mount Royal College during his tenure as Coordinator of Theatre Arts and Chairman of the Department of Fine and Performing Arts. The fonds includes two series: Production files, which documents theatre productions he directed or produced, and Theatre production slides, which consists of photographs of plays he was involved in. The fonds also contains other records related to fundraising, project proposals, and promotion related to theatre productions.

Fonds mostly consists of propaganda leaflets dropped from Allied and German aircraft during World War II, but also contains leaflets from other conflicts (including the First World War, Vietnam War, Gulf War) and political campaigns. The airborne leaflets targeted enemy combatants, munition workers, and civilians and were designed to undermine morale, persuade their readers to surrender or stop fighting/working, or provide access to censored war news.
Patterson English manuscript collection
Collection consists of 17th to 20th century English manuscript records that were collected by Mount Royal University professor Diana Patterson. The collection contains a wide variety of personal, legal, financial, and religious records including: diaries, travel journals, correspondence, wills, commonplace books, transcriptions of philosophical and literature texts, poetry, and sermons. Patterson intended the collection to be used to teach English and History students about paleography, scholarly editing, primary source research methods, and the history of the book.

Item is a roll of honour commemorating Mount Royal Junior College students, faculty, and staff who served in the Canadian armed forces during World War II. The names of soldiers who died in the war are marked with a cross. Roll was designed by Canadian artist A.J. Casson.
