Fonds consists of two series: Student notebooks and Field/work/travel notes which are arranged in chronological order.

Fast Forward Weekly (FFWD) collection

Collection consists of a near-complete print run of Fast Forward Weekly (FFWD), a Calgary-based local news and entertainment weekly newspaper that was published from 1995 to 2015 by Great West Newspapers Limited Partnership. The 934 newspaper issues in the collection are bound in volumes in chronological order. The collection also contains one series of CD and DVDs containing digital photographs, articles, and web page images created by Fast Forward Weekly's staff for the newspaper.

"Fast Forward Weekly (FFWD) was a news and entertainment weekly which provides news, alternative viewpoints, entertainment information, review articles and specialized advertising. It was distributed throughout Calgary, Banff and Canmore. It is owned by Great West Newspapers, LP. With an assessed readership of 70,000 upon a distributed circulation of 30,000, the paper was one of the most widely circulated and well-respected alternative newspapers in Canada."

Leona Paterson fonds

Fonds documents Paterson's career as a teacher of speech and drama at Mount Royal College, her adjudication work at festivals across Canada, her involvement with Knox United Church, and her work as director of the Mount Royal College Conservatory.

The fonds contains: scrapbooks, daily date books, speech arts theory exams, scripts, travel diaries, programs for speech and drama festivals, photographs of Mount Royal faculty and Paterson's friends and family, Knox United Church records, speeches, toasts, poems and scripts collected by Theresa M. Siegel, audio reels of performances, interviews with Leona Paterson, and original poetry by her husband Harold "Pat" Paterson. The fonds is arranged into the following series: scrapbooks, professional activities, teaching, Harold Paterson, Theresa M. Siegel, personal records, and audiovisual materials.

Nuclear disarmament movement collection

Collection consists of pamphlets published by the Campaign for Nuclear Disarmament (CND) and other organizations in the British anti-nuclear movement during the Cold War. The pamphlets were published to encourage activism related to nuclear disarmament, and to inform the public on related issues including the arms race, civil defence, government policy, and the threat and effects of nuclear war. The collection contains one series of Campaign for Nuclear Disarmament publications, and also contains other pamphlets published by the Communist Party of Great Britain, Scientists Against Nuclear Arms, and others.

Linda Many Guns fonds

Fonds consists of materials from Dr. Linda Many Guns' research project, "The Ten Grandmothers Project" (initially called "The Ten Old Ladies Project"), based on Many Guns' interviews with traditional Blackfoot elders in southern Alberta and the United States. The research project was focused on the elders' teachings about the role of women in Blackfoot society and was carried out while Many Guns was Executive Director of the Nii Touii Knowledge and Learning Centre.

The fonds consists of one series containing audio recordings of the interviews, as well as transcripts, release forms, notes, correspondence, a draft manuscript of a book Many Guns intended to publish, drawings, fabric samples, and photographs. Also included are other audio recordings of Blackfoot language lessons, songs, and dances.

Collection mainly consists of books and pamphlets published in England and Scotland between 1500 and 1800. Collection contains three subject-based series: English Civil Wars, witch trials, and the Popish Plot. Collection also contains satirical prints, daily news periodicals, novels and poetry, religious texts, a cookbook, and a herbal.

D7 recto. Features an overpainted metalcut of Augustus and the Tiburtine Sybil. The Roman emperor consults the prophetess, who reveals a celestial vision of the Virgin and Child, while a young man looks on. According to medieval legend, when Augustus consulted the Sibyl about whether he should accept apotheosis (recognition as a god after his death), she prophesied the coming of Christ and revealed a vision of the Virgin and Child on the site of the future Church of Santa Maria in Aracoeli in Rome.

Gospel sequences - Saint John

B2 verso. Features an overpainted metalcut of Saint John the Evangelist on the island of Patmos with a vision of the Virgin and Child in the sky. John has his gospel on his lap and is accompanied by an eagle, his evangelist symbol.

Penitential psalms

H7 verso. Overpainted metalcut of King David repenting. A kneeling David prays for forgiveness outside the walls of Jerusalem with two bodies at his feet, while an angel descends bearing a sword and arrow, symbols of war.

Item is a framed photograph of a basketball team, consisting of 14 uniformed female students and a coach, in front of a brick and sandstone building, likely the original Mount Royal College building. First student is holding a ball with "MRC 1927" written on it.

World War I roll of honour

Item is a roll of honour commemorating the Mount Royal College students, faculty, and staff who served during World War I in the 191st (Southern Alberta) Battalion of the Canadian Expeditionary Force. The roll of honour lists participants and includes symbols noting those killed in action (‘x’) and those who died of injury or other ailments (‘+’). The roll features hand painted illuminated borders, and was designed and illuminated by Stafford & Kent of Calgary, Alberta.
