The Staff Committee was responsible for hiring and negotiating contracts and compensation for faculty members. The Finance Committee was responsible for monitoring and maintaining the finances of the college and approving major expenditures. The Executive Committee had the authority to transact all of the business of the Board of Governors and college in-between meetings of the full Board of Governors.
