File consists of reproductions of newspaper clippings reporting Ehnisz's death, photocopied photos of Ehnisz's military service-related possessions and his burial service, and war memorial web content. File contents were compiled by Kirk Ehnisz, Bennie Ehnisz's nephew.

1988 Paralympic Management Committee

File documents the work of the IPC's Paralympic Management Committee in planning the 1988 Summer Paralympic Games. File contains minutes, logo designs, funding applications, site inspection reports, a draft team budget, memoranda of understanding, and a letter of agreement.

Mary Banks bills

File contains a collection of bills paid to and owed by the late Mary Banks of Wakefield. File also contains correspondence addressed to the executor of her estate, and an inventory of the fixtures at Monkhill House, Pontefract, West Yorkshire.

File consists of German language leaflets produced and dropped by Allied forces to undermine German morale, convince soldiers to surrender or desert, and persuade munitions workers to stop working.

Nuremberg Chronicle leaves

File contains two leaves from the Liber Chronicarum (Book of Chronicles), commonly known as the Nuremberg Chronicle, an illustrated biblical and world history published by Hartmann Schedel. The book was printed in Nuremberg by Anton Koberger and illustrated with woodcuts by Michael Wolgemut and Wilhelm Pleydenwurff. The Liber Chronicarum is notable for being one of the first printed books to successfully integrate illustrations with text.

Transition to Honorary President of the IPC

File documents Steadward's transition from President of the IPC to Honorary President. File contains correspondence, a Spinal Cord Injury and Treatment Centre Society newsletter, news article, and a wheelchair rugby classification appeal. File also contains a CD-ROM from the Hong Kong Schools Sports Federation containing photographs, image captions, and a paper on the history of disability sport in Hong Kong.

A Thurber carnival, March 1969

File documents a production of "A Thurber carnival" and consists of correspondence, receipts, audition notes, resumes, production and cast notes, set sketches, an advertisement for the play, and a Calgary Centennial Planetarium rental reservation form.

National Defence for Air correspondence

File contains letters to Bennie Ehnisz's parents from the Canadian military. One letter is from the Minister of National Defence for Air in gratitude of Ehnisz's service and formally awarding his parents the Memorial Cross. Another letter (filed under 53-1-3B) is from J.G. Sparling to Ehnisz's mother, requesting her to wear the memorial cross in honour of her son's sacrifice.

English psalter leaves

File contains two leaves from an illuminated psalter that feature illuminated initials and line fillers in red, blue, and burnished gold. The leaves also feature three-quarter borders on both sides depicting long tendrils terminating in trefoils and containing marginal illustrations of humans/hybrid creatures and a bird. A psalter is a book containing the Book of Psalms and often other devotional texts such as a liturgical calendar, Litany of Saints, and Office of the Dead.

Manuscript fragments

File contains three fragments of manuscript leaves (possibly works of canon law) recovered from later bindings. Fragments 1 and 2 appear to be from the same manuscript, and possibly the same leaf. The fragments feature glossing in a number of medieval and modern hands, rubrication, and illuminated initials, paraphs, and marginal decorations, one in the form of a a mythical creature.

French book of hours leaves

File contains three leaves from an illuminated book of hours from Northern France, possibly Paris. The leaves are decorated with elaborate panel borders, some inhabited by fantastical creatures, as well as illuminated initials and line fillers.

File consists of an introduction, dress pattern, genealogy and photographs.

Rick Hansen Centre slides

File contains photographic slides from the Rick Hansen Centre in Edmonton, Alberta. Slides depict photographs of athletes competing in Paralympic events at the 1976 Toronto Olympiad, 1980 Olympics for the Physically Disabled in Holland, 1980 Winter Paralympics in Norway, and the 1971 Pan Am Games in Jamaica. Slides also depict athletes training, presentation slides, wedding pictures, award ceremonies, and candid shots of individuals and groups.

Disability sport and training photographs

File contains photographs of disabled athletes training at the Rick Hansen Centre, and slides used in presentations and speaking engagements. Images also depict disabled sporting events such as as basketball camps, Paralympic Sports Association swimming programs, track and field championships, Stoke Mandeville Games, and Sportsfest.
