Fonds reflects the establishment and evolution of the Mount Royal University Conservatory, including its academic programs, concerts, performances, and special events. Fonds is arranged into five series: Branch Teachers Association; concerts, recitals, competitions, and special events; administration, Morningside Music Bridge; and marketing, promotion, and press.

Fonds contains concert, recital, and event programs, correspondence, promotional materials, advertisements, brochures, press releases, performer/student/faculty biographies, program information, news articles, grant applications, photographs, agendas and minutes, calendar and event schedules, and recording logs.

PASCAR [Performing Arts Sponsor Calgary and Region]

File documents grant applications made by various musical and performance groups to the Performing Arts Sponsor Calgary and Region (PASCAR). File contains correspondence, promotional materials, newspaper articles, schedules of upcoming performances, lists of sponsor organizations, photographs, performer biographies, and minutes.

Academy of Music

Branch Teachers Association

Series documents the history of the Branch Teachers Association's relationship with the Mount Royal Conservatory. The Branch Teachers Association was an informal (non-incorporated) organization of musical instructors that provided music lessons to students unable to travel to the Mount Royal campus in Calgary. Branch Association teachers were affiliated with the Mount Royal College Conservatory, but were self-employed and worked under renewable contracts. Series contains: association meeting minutes, faculty and student recital programs, Conservatory and Association correspondence, and student scholarship information.

Minutes and scholarships

File documents the administration of the Branch Teachers Association. File contains faculty minutes, memoranda, correspondence, scholarship applications and guidelines, budget statements, thank-you letters, and an agreement with Mount Royal College.

President's handbook

File documents BTA information for in-coming presidents. File contains a president's handbook containing samples of letters, agendas, and minutes. Handbook also contains contact information, protocols, and scholarship information.

Branch 1994-1995

Branch 1999-2000

1988 Olympics
