Hockey

Series documents Canadian hockey at the professional and amateur (junior, intermediate, and senior) levels. Series relates to Canadian leagues (especially those in Western Canada) and international leagues in which Canadian teams took part. Series consists of programs, yearbooks, media guides, tickets, magazines (including Blueline Hockey Monthly, Hockey Pictorial, and National Hockey Annual), photographs, schedules, trading cards, calendars, as well as promotional objects including patches and decals.

Subseries documents men's professional level ice hockey leagues and teams in Canada and the United States. Subseries documents league and exhibition games, playoff games, and hockey tournaments and special events such as the Canada Cup, Stanley Cup, and Soviet Super Series. Subseries contains programs, photographs, tickets, cards, schedules, guides, magazines, stickers, and other promotional materials.

World Hockey Association

Subsubseries documents the World Hockey Association (WHA) which was a professional level men's hockey league. The WHA was formed in 1971 as a rival league to the National Hockey League (NHL) and disbanded in 1979. Subsubseries documents league, playoff, and All Star games and contains programs, tickets, schedules, cards, photographs, and other promotional materials.
